2022 Explorer ST-Line
I've got a Viofo Duo 129 Dashcam to install on my 22 ST-Line. I had installed it easily on my 15 Ex Sport but this one has airbags everywhere! Has anyone successfully removed the A pillar, run the cable behind or on the side without interfering with how the air bag would deploy? I have been trying to get the A pillar removed but it is really on there and I don't want to break my new Ex. The A pillar on the ST-Line is covered in fabric - unlike the good old days of plastic which is pretty much indestructible and just pops off. I am afraid I will rip or damage the material. Looking for suggestions if anyone has any. Most "how to" videos just say to remove it but no mention of how. But or course, there are no videos of any Gen 6 that I have been able to find. As usual, thanks.:salute:

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try. Have you done this? It looks easy but judging based on my attempt earlier, I'm thinking it'll take some studying.

i did it. the hard part is putting it back and getting all the clips to line up. i zip tied the cable to the cable bundle already passing through there so it won't interfere with the airbag.

Cool. When I feel adventurous, I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
