Here it goes, I have a few questions. I want to buy a single 12' subwoofer, but i dont know what brand to buy. I need to get a sub that can run off the amp I already have, a JVC KSA4500, its specs are 50x4 RMS and 520 peak watts. I already have 4 kicker 5x7s running off it and was going to bridge the sub, the manual says that when the amp is in bridge mode in will put out 260w/ch. MAX so what is the RMS/ch in bridge mode? Thanks

I have no idea, but I'm going to guess it puts out 125-150 watts bridged per channel. Do what I did and have the amp power the front two speakers, then bridge the rear channel and run the sub off that. As for a sub, maybe a JL 10W0 or W1.

A good rule to go by is that RMS will usually be half of what MAX is so about 120-130 rms
