My voltage gauge just went kaput! Still starts and runs fine, but the needle is pegged to the left.

No problems prior to this, so do the gauges croak like this, or is there something I can check before replacement?

(voltage reads 14.2 at idle, which I think is good)

Thanks

Try hitting the top of the dash right above the gauge or tapping on the plastic cover in front of the gauge. Mine does that all the time and a little whack on the dash will fix it. There's a little peg behind the gauge that is supposed to keep the needle from going all the way to the left like that. Mine apparently broke off and it looks like yours did too.

peace

Mike
