I found this video on youtube comparing sound deadeners vs heat.

I get the first part over time two of the competitors slid meaning it would do the same in your car what about the second part why does pull off matter???

it doesn't, if you have to use pliers to pull them all off, unless you wanted to remove the dampening material from your car later down the road.
