defrost door broken on 04 xlt help needed

Fantastic fix. I don't have a 3D printer but your company will print one for only $21 which beats spending many hours making and fitting a makeshift part. Thanks for solving a major headache! BTW the link didn't work but it did opened your company's web site where I uploaded your "19A574_fixpart_hole_nut_v2.stl" file.

For what it is worth, shop tells me that there is a broken gear inside my defrost door box (1L2Z-18471-CA superceded by 5L2Z-18471-AA). Unfortunately, the defrost door box for '01 through '05 is no longer available.

Does anyone know if the '06 through '10 defrost air chamber assembly (7L2Z-18471-AA) can be substituted? It looks like the newer part bypasses the vacuum cylinder and uses an electric motor instead. Is there a harness that can be used in lieu of the vacuum canister?
