defroster is putting out little air.

2002 Explorer.
there seems to be very little heat coming from the defroster. I suspect the defroster is not opening all the way to allow the air to clear the windshield. Any suggestions on where I can find the vent that allows the air to flow onto the windshield. The speed of teh blower fan works perfectly.
Also my interiour keeps fogging up. The interior glass has a condesation that I have to keep wiping to see.

could be the air diverter in the heater duct
