Now that is an intake...

Although, wouldn't it be better to run a 90 from the TB, slant it up, and then another 90 to run the MAF under the front of the intake and the K&N facing the back? That would eliminate about... a foot and a half of piping, plus about 2 bends...
 












hey bobdreadknot, how did you work that out to get the butterfly's to open? did you attach something like a metal rod from the intake to the throtle cable?
 






exaclty, i used the cable rod that comes with the blower and attached it to the throttle body cable so when it pulls back on the throtle, the rod moves back and opens the butterflies. it could have been made shorter but fitment issues made it go the way it does. I heard that the MAS needs to be a certain lenth from the throttle and that moving it around could cause issues, so i wanted to keep it as flat as possable while still keeping far enough away from the TB.
 






Ah, I see, I didn't realize that the MAF had to be a certain distance from the TB... Looks pretty good though. Bit outrageous for me, but looks like you put some work into it.

dont qoute me on it but i remember being told that so i just tried to follow certain steps to keep it running, and it does perfectly. i havnt measured gas milage yet though. :p:
