I have been questing for replacement rocker panels for ,'04 my Sport Trac, but only have been able to find just the "slip-on" type which I am hesitant to use mostly because none I have seen have the vertical flange at the very bottom of the rocker. All of the manufacturer's I have found all make rocker panels for the Explorer, but not the Sport Trac.
Any info on how to solve this dilemma would be appreciated. I would use the slip on type if I could find a vendor that includes the bottom flange as the rust problem on my ST does not extent into the door sill. There is alot of rust on the sides and bottom, and also the very back of the rocker in front of the rear tire.
I am also hesitant to use the Explorer rocker panel and wing-it for the very front and the very rear as I am not certain about the fitment and they are about $200 or more (Canuck Bucks) to have shipped to Canada.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Best Regards.
Mark.
