Compatible seats for 2004 Sport Trac?

Hello!

I have a 2004 Sport Trac and I am in desperate need of new front seats. My truck originally had power, leather 2-tone grey seats, they were stolen out of the truck and it is proving to be nearly impossible to replace them. I am able to find some seats out of an Explorer, but not from a Sport Trac specifically. Does anyone know:

1. If regular power Explorer seats will work? (They are MUCH easier to find than Sport Trac specific seats are...)

2. Do they have to be from the same year?

3. What "trim type TT" means? And will seats with that trim type work for my '04 Sport Trac?

4. Are they safe to install myself?

5. Anyone have any idea where to get the correct seats for my truck? I search car-parts(dot)com all the time, but no one in California seems to have them, ever.

All this stuff is really out of my element, so any translation will help me immensely. I thank you all in advance for any help or clarification you can provide.

Explorer seats and ranger seats can be made to work in a sport trax
Explorer seats from 96-01, or sport or sport trax seats up to 2005
The 02-05 sport tracs have the best seats so earlier Explorer dudes and Ranger dudes would be after your 02-05 sport trax seats as an upgrade

Ranger seats from a 4 door 98-2011
The later Ranger 04-11 had some nice buckets the fx4 had black leather buckets for a few years… those are the nicest of all our seats

Good seats are hard to find
eBay is a good place for them
I have purchased several sets of seats from eBay twice we have used greenhound bus service for cheap shipping
