I have a pretty good ticking noise on me 2002 Ford X XLt 4.0l..
Alittle history: Picked this truck up in Aug 13 transmission was blown, bought a used trans had it installed Fixed all four quick struts & upper ball joints assemblies. Now the truck drove with the bad tranny and had this noise (i think) prior to used trans being install could it be the torque converter or maybe the timing chains?? Any help would be appreciated.. The truck runs good and seems to shift fine just not sure what that noise is.
Here is a vid of noise easiest to hear best inside truck at end.. noise increases & decreases with throttle. listen close Thanks in advance.
