So, my X is going through about 4 quarts between oil changes. Probably won't need to change oil ever at this rate. Problem is that I don't know where it's going. I see what looks like some pooling on the bottom of the oil pan but that's it. I don't see any clouds of smoke behind the vehicle. Would a rear main seal only leak while driving? I'm unsure how to pinpoint the leak or if it's burning it. There are no puddles under the vehicle.

If you can, try to put a piece of cardboard under it when you park it, this will help identify if and where there may be a leak.
You are probably using oil (burning) rather han leaking.

I park on cleanish concrete so I can tell if it's leaking. Only thing leaking is the steering gear. So you think I could be burning that much oil and not see any smoke?
