ok here's the deal, 94 xlt 4wd pretty much all stock with 110k. it has run like new until about a month ago. I went up to chicago to pick up the 91 sport. It towed back just fine, however ever since then when I'm sitting at a redlight it feels like it's missing on a cylinder every couple of seconds. It's just fine when you're accelerating and driving normal. Sitting at a stop light though after about 10 seconds she'll start to give a little kick every now and then, never a steady pattern. She has been well maintained, the plugs and wires were just changed about this time last year. I checked the plugs, they look like they're at the halfway point. The only other thing I can think of is the EGR. Anyone else have any ideas???
I've put over 60k on this truck without any problems. I'm gonna go ahead and change the plugs. Does anyone know how to check if the EGR is actually working. I know the IAC is easy to change, but I'm gonna try and make it the last thing on the list, just seems funny that it would go out after a towing episode, but could be pure coincidence.
