I have a new innova obd1 &obd2 -model 3140 b- on a 92 ford explorer- no check engine light, pulls no codes, worked on engine off and shows no problems. I cannot get it to run the engine on- it won't go pass the checking cylinders. I've done it before only using an older machine. I've tried like it says hooked up then start, I've tried start it then hook it up. I know I've got problems and can't figure out how to run this test with this new machine.????
I think it may be fuel pump related- (replaced 4 yrs ago, as wellas the MAS) I turn the key and listen for the pump and I don't hear it like I use to. Some times it'll start up some times you have to try several times. Now it'll chug/like no fuel and primarily when under a load. Then today I noticed as it was under a little load (small upgrade hill) it was doing it chug like it was going to die then felt like a hard tranny engage- if that makes sense.
