So I know that my tranny is living on borrowed time...it has to be.

After an 02 sensor harness (front, passengers side) melted to the exhaust manifold and popped the #13 fuse under the hood (that controls both the transmission and the 02 sensors) and trying to move the truck (myself and I'm sure the mechanic combined) I'm almost positive the transmission pump was damaged.

I now have a distinct wine in all gears (including neutral) that changes pitch with the RPM's of the engine. Torque converter
wouldn't make any noise in neutral.

So far, the first shift from 1-2 has become sloppy and sluggish...like it's just skipping or slightly banging into the next gear, instead of a firm shift like it was before this incident. Everything else is normal. No flashing OD light.

Tranny fluid is still like new. Level is appropriate.

Started thinking where I can acquire $2,300 bucks when she blows. Wife pissed.

Tbars...thanks...now I know for next time!!! Anthony
