Towards the end of my work day today I brought it into my work and set up my 2000 on the alignment rack. Everything was good except the right front was toed in half a degree. so I set the toe and went on my way.

Now, when I turn right theres, like a light skipping, coming through the steering wheel. I cant really describe it other than that. and if Im turning right and hit a bump it gets a bit of a wobble through the steering wheel. Everything in the front end was tight before setting the toe, I havent been able to jack it up again yet but I crawled underneath the front and grabbed the tie rod and shook it and its tight. Quite honestly Im stumped, Im not sure why doing the alignment would cause that. Any ideas?

Wheels turned with the engine off? Sounds like air in the power steering system. Drive slowly while turning
lock to lock should slowly purge the air out. Did you adjust only the passenger side TRE when setting toe?

Yes only the passenger side

Do you have any toe at all? There should be some.

Ditto. Sounds like excessive toe out on the passenger side causing tire scrub when turning right. Back on the alignment rack.

There is toe, Everything is within Fords specification

I have to check my sheet again but I believe Its got .15 of a degree of total toe which is smack dab in the middle

The "skipping" or shudder didn't occur until you adjusted the right tie rod, correct? Sure it's not air in the steering system? Baffling.

What does the tread look like on the passenger front tire? Try rotating front to back and see if the problem disappears.

Turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times while at a craw speed, engine running.

Yea I bled the power steering system and it went away, air must have gotten in the ststem somehow
