So I am spending the weekend doing some of the small interior repairs. One of the main ones is my cruise control switches. The ones in the truck are missing the face plates so a very nice member here sent me some.
Well I was looking on a post on how to replace the switch and was having a real time trying to figure out how to get the old harnesses off. To first one once I got it off (thanks to the help of a butter knife) went flying across the room. Well I went to look at the switch (right hand switch RSM, Set Accel, Coast) there is a pin missing, #2 pin I think. I looked on the floor and I don't see a pin and I looked in the harness and I don't see a pin. Is one suppose to be there?
I don't use cruise very much. I really just wanted it to look complete and if they work fine. But if it is missing a pin will it screw something up if I plug the harness into it.
Thanks in advance for any advice or assistance.
