Difference between Explorer and Sport Trac???

I own a four wheel drive shop and have a customer who has an 01 Explorer. He wants a 3" body lift put on it and they only make one for an 01 Sport Trac. They look similar enough to me that the kit should fit either. Is there a difference of any major components that would make the Sport trac kit NOT fit the regular Explorer or only a few minor brackets that could easily be fabricated?

I think '95-'01 Explorers are all the same as far as the body mounts go (if not the '91-'94s too). I believe the Sport Trac bed is a separate piece however, in which case I doubt the body mounts would be the same on it.
Maybe someone else here can confirm for sure though.

Well according to the manufacturer, the lift (Part #70023) fits 01-02 Sport Trac models. I'm Ford challenged so I can't think for the life of me why it shouldn't work on a regular Explorer.
