My buddy just bought a Explorer and it needs a motor. Its a 91 model so no egr or any of that stuff. We found a motor and tranny still running in the car and can drive it before we pull it and buy it for a killer deal. Its out of a 95 Explorer 4.0 ohv.
My question will this bolt into the 91-94 with just changing the motor mounts or are the blocks different? I am not worried about changer little small stuff like the intake and what not.
What all is different on the motors from a 91-94 and a 95 up? I know the head are different and pistons are a little more dished but thats about it.
