Differences between XLT and SPORT ?!?

Anyone have any good info on the differences between both trim models in the year of 93? Is the body & frame the same size in both models or is the sport smaller?

The Sport is a two door, the XLT is four.

Playing with the options could make them both very similar outside of the number of doors.

In 93 there were 5 models of Explorer. The XL(2 and 4 door), Sport (2 door only), XLT (4 door only), Eddie Bauer (2 and 4 door), Limited (4 door)

The two door and 4 door are identical with the exception of 10 inches of length. The 2 door is 102inch wheel base, and the 4 doors are 112inch wheelbase.

i always thought the limited was a ugly truck in the early days, the 2 tone look stripe and paint, never seemed to hold up! but the 2nd gen , those things did a 1-80. very sharp, but the sports were more likely to have 5 speeds werent they? in the older modles, as to the 4 doors?
