different lift parts????

if i got drop brackets and parts for a 5.5" lift....but get 4" coils...would the lift work alright???

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think an integral part of the 5.5 susp lift is the SOA: spring over axle switch. I think that's how you get the 5.5" in back. So if you use 4" springs with the 5.5" lift, you'll get 4" in front and 5.5" in back. The rears of the 4" and 5.5" lift are totally different.
