I'm trying to identify the IRS differential in my 2002 EB 4x4 Explorer and have totally confused myself. My pinion seal is leaking and want to buy the correct parts and gasket. I tried searching and there are a lot of threads but none I can find with identification information. The tag on mine has the following info:
S BM V 652B
3L73 88 1H20
One thread I read noted a tag in the door which I have not looked at. Is there a link somewhere that breaks down all these numbers? I bought the car used so it is the only one I own without the original window sticker. Thanks for any help.
