Diffrent chips/ aftermarket parts?

I am not familiar with the diffrent kinds of chips that can be put into the Exploer. I was wondering if someone could give me a crash course on them, such as what each of them do, how much they are, and any other relevent info. Also what is special about the K&M air filter. What will it do to my car and why is it better? One last thing is what would diffrent brands of exhausts do to my car. Any assistance would be helpfull.

well, i think as far as different brands of chips, it's a matter of personal preference. most people seem to like Superchip. K&N drop in filters are ok, but some people dont notice much difference. KKM seems to be the better way to go, lots of good reviews on this site about KKM. you'll get better performance and gas mileage from the intake. but the superchip is just for power. and with the superchip, you have to use premium gas. so it's noit going to save you any money at the pump.
