digital miles gauge went out

The digital thing on the gauge cluster that tells you how many miles are on ur truck just went out in mine.is thier like a fuse or something for it?all the other gauges work on the cluster just the digital miles went out..

The odometer is just a display component of the Instrument Cluster. The PCM tracks the mileage from a sensor in the tranny (I think) and sends a signal to the odometer for you to read. There is no seperate fuse for the odometer. Sounds like you've got either a wiring problem between the PCM and IC, or a bad IC. Maybe someone with a schematic will chime in and tell you which pins to check in the IC connector. Good Luck.

Having the same problem. My odometer comes on sometimes and sometimes it remains off. Did you get your problem fixed? If so how?
