Hi,

I take my Ford V6 2006 to the dunes. The problem is when I hit high dunes the car goes over 25 mph and the Traction control and all the protection activates.

This is after I diable the RSC with the switch. Sliding icon "ON"
I read the manual and it says the traction control comes on irrespective on the switch when the car speedo hits more than 25mph.

I want to deactivate it for Dune bashing.

Can anyone give any ideas ?

R'gds,
J

pull the fuse for the traction control, if it still doesn't work, then pull the fuse for the ABS. That will for sure kill it.

Hey,
You sure it will work ?

Anyone else have any other ideas ??

I want to disable the RSC above 40 kmph or 25 mph.

Is there a chip tune or reprogramming or somethin like that??

I could not find a fuse for the traction control.

The o6 explorer has a more advanc traction control which involves one of the signal from a directional gyro which cuts of engine and/or applies brakes to the required wheel when the gyro senses a roll over.

Has anyone tried anything to disable it ?
