Dislocated Door Ding Guards

The door ding guards on my 13 XLT have looked like this since I bought a couple of months ago. My initial idea is just to clean the areas above them and then coax them back up a little. I searched and found nothing directly related to this. Should I pull them off and relocate, tap them up back into position, replace them, etc.? Any advice appreciated.

They're just the plastic ones, right? They all see to do that eventually. Put them where you want them, and clean off the adhesive residue. DeSolvit Contractor's Solvent works great, and it's safe on the paint.
