This is regarding a 1997 Ford Ranger I am thinking about buying.
1. The defroster is the only place the air comes out, no matter what I set the controls to. Nothing out of the floor or vents.
2. I only have hot air blowing, no cool air available.
My thinking from reading many threads, is that I have both a vaccum problem AND a blend door problem. Am I correct in this thinking, or is there one common thing that can cause this?
Either way, is this a deal breaker for buying or not buying the truck?
