2002 4.0 is leaving smallish (pencil eraser sized) oil drips on the driveway. I'm going to replace a seeping front main seal and valve cover gaskets. I was going to replace the oil pan gaskets also, but I was just reading in the Haynes manual, and they say to remove the engine to change the gaskets.
Wondering if driveway drips willl likely be solved with the front main seal and VC gaskets and/or if the the pan gaskets tend to seep and if so, if they can be changed without removing the engine.
