Wow; what a great web-site. I can't wait to get in deeper into this and a little more experience under my belt.
I have a Ford Ranger 2003 2.3 L DOA; the reason it is DOA I changed the battery in it and it is now dead. I bought it used about a year ago and havn't had much trouble untill now. I do know it has a security system because I tryed to get a key made and they could not make one for me, because of the chip in the key. Now when you open the door I am getting a different chime and when I try to start it there is nothing like a kill switch is ingaged, and after I remove the key I still get the chime like a error code. Please help I know I am not the only person to change a battery in a Ranger. Thanks for reading everyone out there have a Blessed Day.
