Does it? Also, I looked under the truck, where are the mounting points for the brush gaurd. I cant seem to see where it would attach to the frame without drilling.

Any pics you would have would be great.

I know its not exactly what you wanted, but I hope it helps.

Matt,
Sorry I don't have a Manik guard so things are probably different. My guard slips right through the air dam area...no cutting needed. I did have to drill holes in the frame to mount the beast though. Drilling really was not all that hard, but of course, there are permanent holes in the frame.
I just thought I'd give you an idea how mine went on.

nweibley~ can you make those pics a little smaller, i cant even see them on my screen they are so big.

I just resized them. sorry I didnt realize they were in their 3.3 megapixel glory. Let me know if you need them even smaller.

Now they are good, thanks man

Am I correct to assume that this does not techically attach directly to frame, there are brackets to the frame, then the gaurd to the brackets?

Yes, when I get my car back tomorrow I can give you measurements. I know I wouldnt trust it with a winch or a tow rope at all as is, but they do protect your car if the situation arises......
That last picture is where the bracket attaches to the frame. That drops down about I would say 2-3 inches mabey more where the brushguard bolts up with 3 bolts.

Do the mounting brackets come with it when it is purchased?........How long to install it all?

I think so... but I dunno, first I bought it with the car... then after my accident my body shop guy did it himself... so I'm not sure, but I but its not very hard.... its just a matter of bolting it up I believe. My favorite thing is that the brush guard inserts where your headlights are come out... if you like the look or need to take your lights out for any reason.

Yeah, thats cool, but what if a lightbulb goes out? Is it a PITA to change?...... I guess you could always take the brush gaurd off if you had to

No. I just lift the cover... twist the clip thing, and change the bulb. You can take the insert off if you want.... it doesnt take long, 3 bolts... but you definatly dont have to (unless you have big hands).

Ok, but what about the lights in the corners where you have to pull out the whole L shaped corner?

Those I guess you would... but you can remove the inserts in about 1 minute I would say, so its not a problem at all.

Oh Ok, that will work. I see you have a 99, but on the 95-98's I hear you may have to cut the air dam, what do you know about that?

Absolutely nothing! I'm sure someone can chime in though. If you do, it cant be that bad, just plastic. The brushguards look mighty good too!

You have to make slots in the airdam where the uprights for the brushguard to go through. Not a big deal.

It's really easy if you have factory fog lights. You can kind of force the guard through the hole in the airdam and then just trim it to make it fit. If you don't have factory fogs, you'll probably have to measure where to cut.

Use a utility knife with a new blade. Go slow and don't try to cut it all at one time, make several not so deep cuts until it goes all the way through.

yob_yeknom~~~ Do you have any pictures of this? I wanna see what I'm getting myself into.

Sorry, no pictures.
