Does an '04 ST have a factory trans temp sending unit?

I wanted to add a transmission temperature gauge to my ST and came across a Scangauge that can tell you the temp, at least if your vehicle is wired for one. So my question is to anyone who has a scanguage, do ST's have this option? and if it does what are the possiblilties i could go the cheaper route and get an ultraguage and just add a temp gauge and tap into the stock sending unit, without modding the stock wiring? thanks for any info. And i do have awhile as i saw the ultragauge is backordered untill jan. 28th.

That answers one of my questions but if i go with the ultragauge instead could i tap into that sensor and run a seperate gauge off it?
