If u do i need ur help

Alright...this week i put a bunch of stuff into my sport...
gibson exhaust
K&N intake
Westin safari Bar
Rhino Steps

and ive had some 31x10.5x15 Mickey thompson baja claw radials on it for a couple months now and ive been searching and reading like crazy on how to lift it and different ways to do it and the pros and cons...im trying to fit 33 or 35 x12.5s

so far all ive done is a T/T and warrior shackles...

Right now im looking at the 4 inch Trailmaster lift:

http://www.truckcustomizers.com/products/-JM-JM/K4TRL764.2.html

Its the only one i can find...theres only about....2 maybe...
and this ones pretty cheap considering they dont make crap for newer explorers.

Im also low on cash and thinking about putting it on myself.
If anyone has any tips or suggestions that would be great
I can use all the help i can get... :)
Ive been checking out a lot of sites tryign to figure out how this lift works and what parts go where and trying to figure out how im gonna do it...
I dont like this damn IFS...maybe in the future ill do a SAS...
And if someone could take the picture maybe and point out what each part is...
I would be ecstatic.

Ive been trying to get help about lifting my truck for a while now and no one has seemed give me any insight on the subject.

Someone please help me out here...
I'll owe you one...

-Thanks :D

if u just want to fit 33's on it u could do a body lift from a ranger for 3" which will be much easier than trying to put the suspension lift on. anyways if u have 2" torsion twist in the front and 2" or so lift in the back then add the 3" from the body lift u have enough room to clear 33x12.50's. also the body lift is much MUCH cheaper than a full suspension lift. great if yer on a budget. you'll have to fab up brackets to raise yer bumpers back up but other than that its fairly straight forward. in fact u could pay someone to put it on for you and still not pay 1/2 of what the suspension lift would cost to buy. that or u could look at it like taking what the suspension would cost and u could buy the body lift and tires and wheels... what gears do u have stock? auto or manual tranny? they might not work so great with 33" tires and it starts getting a little pricey changing gears and maybe adding a locker or lsd

yea just do that look at some of my old posts that say ex sport on 33s and there is your answer...3in body and TT shackles 33x12.5

thanks...

i was thinking about doing a 3" body lift before but wasnt sure if a ranger kit would work or not. I couldnt find one for my explorer.

And yea the gears are stock and its an automatic.

and about the bumper...
im looking for a metal rear bumper..maybe a custom tube bumper or something. So if anyone knows where i can find one, let me know.

check the tag on your rear end see what gears it says u have and if u have a limited slip or not. if no tag or can't read it check the axle code on the sticker inside the door. then come here find out what gears the code is for. if your lucky u'll have 4.10's or atleast 3.73's...

hey hiridin...
i just check out your car domain.
NICE explorer by the way

whered you get your bumper...or did u make it yourself
im looking for one like that...or something similar.

oh and ill check on the gears soon and post em

thanks :) and ya the bumper is custom made courtesy of my dad. gives a great approach angle and is lighter than a stock bumper but b/c of the body lift its not very sturdy... it could be braced up a little better but i haven't gotten around to it yet. we cut the ends of the frame horns off and built the bumper to slide into the frame. gave the best approach angle
(by a couple inches or so) but i can never really go back to a stock bumper or use the stock mounting points. so i dunno if that was the smartest thing to do or not...

i have a 4 inch superlift suspension lift that i put on my 01 sport. i'm running 33's and there is no rubbing. with the shackles and tt you may be able to fit 35's, but not if you off road in it. I've heard the superlift kit is better than the trailmaster one. If you want to you can put the fiberglass fenders on the front and do a spring over axle on the rear and that will definitely give you room for 33's, and it's cheaper than a suspension lift. then a body lift will make room for 35's. that's what I'd do if I had to do it again.

here's what the superlift looks like.
