does anyone know how to bipass the factory amp

i have a 95 exoloer weith premium sound and i want to bipass the amp and where is it located i have a 4 door

Passanger side rear, behind the plastic panel... The easiest way is to buy an amp bypass harness...

Lots of places, you local audio stores should have it... Or you can get it online at www.crutchfield.com I think I paid around $15

I have one for a '97 Premium sound that may work on a '95. If it will work, I'll send it to you if you cover shipping. I got it with a new HU purchase from Crutchfield and didn't need it.

i've never done any audio stuff before....i wish somebody would do a picture/step by step instruction thing on bypassing that amp. where does that new harness go, back with the amp or in the dash with the new deck?? anybody know any sites which explain all this really well to newbies like me?

It plugs into each of the connectors that go 2 the AMP in the back of the truck. I got mine from best buy they sell it with the whole HU wireing harnest too. They tried 2 sell me this 40 dollar P.O.S that made no sence but u have 2 explain u want the plug and play harnest and its 19. bucks. good luck.

I'd just rewire to the speakers directly with high quality cable. It will cost about the same, and be much more reliable.

However, it is a lot of work. Just a thought.

thats exactly what i did, becuase at that time i didnt know they made a bypass i was kind explorer dumb than, now im jsut dumb =)
