I am looking at starting up another serious project since my car did not come with the ceiling a/c. I compared the parts with a vehicle that had ceiling a/c only a few small pieces are missing about 500 dollars into the whole project.

If anyone knows where the rear a/c blower is located or suppose to be mounted that would be nice?

That's it - Drivers side rear quarter panel.

That should be an easy setup if the wiring harness is there to hook it up...I say the hardest part on this project will be changing out the compressor and headliner.

And running the additional lineset of course. You should also probably check for the wiring harness at the bay adjacent to the sunroof switch which is where the controls for the rear unit go.

Yea those are switchable, thats how I installed my sync mirror with built-in a mic I got a 2008 wire harness, I know for sure those wiring harness all have the same plugs from 2006-2010

did you ever proceed with this project? i want rear ac ceiling vents as well

I can tell you it is worth having rear A/C. I will never use my 3rd row but having the ability to turn the A/C on from the front driver's seat sure makes the interior cool off or heat up much faster than the 5 passenger.

After having both the 5 passenger and now my current 7 passenger I would say differently. You actually have to change out the rear plastic panels in order to fit the rear A/C in. The rear quarter panels on both the passenger and driver side are totally different on the 5 vs 7 passengers.

Are you planning on adding the 3rd row seats?
