Does anyone know?

What problems?

Has Ford corrected the problems they were having with the rear brake pads ?

This where I read it . I don't know how to make a clicky direct connect.
I'm guessing this what you mean; 2011-2015 Ford Explorer: Are Your Rear Brakes Dragging... Most Likely Yes!

As far as I know, this hasn't been a problem. Are you having this issue with your F350?

This is not a Ford specific problem, more like a common problem with many vehicles in certain regions more prone to rust. If you encounter it you just take the pads off, clean the rust off (under the slider shims if so equipped) and put a generous (but not excessive enough to glob off) amount of silicone grease in the slide rail area as shown in the video.

That area should also be inspected every time the pads are replaced.
