I was searching ebay and found this company that sells complete center sections for Ford 9" axles. I can choose the ratio(4.88...well, 4.86. close enough :D) and the spline(31) that I want and it comes with a mini spool installed as well...which I would keep until later on and upgrade it to a Detroit or something. The grand total comes to about 385 shipped. As most of you guys know, that's an awesome deal. Does anyone see anything wrong with this thing...other than the fact that it's purple? :D

As long as all 9" 3rd are the saem then I cant see a problem with it. Im not sure if Torino 9" are the same as the big and small beraign truck 9"'s though. id check on that first.

Cool, I just got an email back and they told me that it would fit my axle(which is what I thought). Hopefully I can get this thing! :bounce:

Those things should be a dime a dozen down there in NASCAR territory. I see you picked it up early. Congrats, that looks like a great deal.

Yep, I found out that it only had three runs on it. I was gonna wait for the shipping quote, but I figured if the shipping was too much, I'd drive down and get it myself. Either way I wanted it. :D

Good stuff! Sounds like your getting some pretty good deals. Thanks to the wonderful world of Ebay!

Yep....I just found out the shipping is only 25 bucks. :D The total of 175 is almost the cost of gears (not to mention the how much extra it would have been for a master install kit and labor)
