I cut a new armrest out of 3/4 inch hardwood plywood in about 2 hours. Maybe I'll put some padding on top and cover it or paint it or whatever, but it's better than everything I've tried to fix the OEM armrest which has been in tatters since I bought this vehicle in 2012. I used a jigsaw and router to get the rounded edges. Beats wasting an afternoon at the junkyard, probably in vain.
