Well now I have the radio done Alpine (CDA-9813) along with one 12" RF Power HX2, with a RF 1501BD pushing it and a Autobahn amp for my highs installed, but I can not figure out on how to remove the covers on the doors to replace the door speakers, can anyone explain this....as soon as everything is done I will post pics

Standard protocol:

Look high and low for screws. My 98 has a few behind the handle that remove the window controls.

Then either:

a) Pull like a madman, starting with the bottom edge and working up.

b) Pull like a semi madman, and hit your local auto parts store for a removal tool that's made for taking out the plastic bolts.

I went with option A, but if you're unlucky you might want to pick up the tool. The plastic bolts break pretty easy.

HTH.

Also, theres a little trim piece around the door handle you need to take out with a screwdriver.
And be sure after pulling the clips out like a madman to lift up on the door pannel because it kinda hangs on the door.

Good Luck!

and dont forget especially with the drivers side you can only pull the doors off so far before you max out the wires (windows, mirrors locks)

This just dawned on me:

Are you trying to remove the speaker grilles from the doors - not the entire panel?

The grilles don't come off - they're plasticwelded on.

the grills do come out if you hit them hard enough
