I've lost or broken some of the little flip door covers on the inside bottoms of the doors. I'm guessing the purpose of these would be to slow water entry if you were in deeper water. I haven't checked the price but debating whether to replace them or not, since I don't ford that many streams. Thoughts?

I'm guessing this is what you are referring to. Not sure exactly what their function is except to perhaps help protect the drain holes to some degree. I don't think I'd bother replacing them if it were my vehicle.I checked out the ford parts website and there are 17 pages on the door and I think I found what these are on the very last page, of course. The are called a Door Access Plug and shown as part #240A52 , $4.10 each.
