Hello to all.iam new on this forum. i own a 2001 explorer an i have the following issue. when i open the door , any one i see on 3 o them that the part that hook with the door when close in one of the is missing something that look like plastic like 1 inch long.it look like white in color and looks like its pvc or some material like that.i include a photo of one with it and one without it an maybe the photo will explain better. do anybody have a fixing for this.its make the door to shake while driving specially on bumpy roads.looks like the one that does not have that have gap in between. thanks for any possible help.

You Don't need the plastic cover.
 






The striker bolt bushing is usually available from the Doorman Help line of parts at most auto parts stores. If not, then at the Ford Dealer (expensive) or junk yard. The door rattle can be annoying when the bushing is gone.
