After doing battle with the wires in the door jamb loom for the power windows and knowing that I would be in there again soon, I looked for but couldn't find a tutorial or a thread on the connecter and wiring.

I think it would be easier to remove the jack from the plug to repair the broken wires than to fight with the rubber corrugated sleeve.

Does anyone have any experience or can you tell me the correct name of the connector?

Thanks in advance!

i had to solder 3-4 wires together earlier this year. i was able to have just enough room to do so by just moving the rubber boot and shove out of the way and pulling that kick panel left of parking brake. it is a tight fit and was frustrating but can be done, with some patience. some have removed the door completely but i didnt want to go that route.

i suggest not to use connectors in the boot for 2 reasons, adds bulk and not as secure. i say not secure because before i found this great site i actually paid ford to fix this issue and they did but only lasted a yr more or less. i enlisted the help of thhis site and found the broken wires and the connector ford used to fix it and it came off at the connector. waste of 250, never again. i added wire 1st by soldering in the jamb and fished the other end into the cab, cut out excess bulk and soldered the other end.
in fact i found out, after the fact, that my keyless entry pad is hard wired (not working) so ill hhaave to open thee booott baackk uup to chheckk more wwires. sorry, damn bt keyboard typing double letters.

Ncranchero & Kjhadfield thank you very much! That is exactly the info I was looking for.
