I just did a search on these and didn't find anything on point. The passenger door lock switch will lock the doors (2), but will not unlock them. I'll be replacing the door speakers shortly and thought I'd replace the switch at the same time. Q: Will I HAVE to go to a dealer to get the switch?? I'd rather order from a a private co. with halfway decent prices.

Thanks. The site rocks!:p

You could probably go to a junk yard and pick up one for really cheap that probably works really good. Just my thought.

As cheap as I am, I'm suprised I didn't think of that first. Thanks.

Or you could just try cleaning the contacts on the switch while you in there. Thats even cheaper than a junkyard.

That's the plan. I figured I'd have one on hand in case the cleaning didn't work. (I hate doing something twice...except the wife of course

please post result

I have a similar problem, except it is the driver's side and it doesn't always lock. I'm hoping I can just clean the contacts, but I haven't had time to look at it yet.
