door locks

my 01 sport trac the passanger door is having a hard time unlocking we haft to hit the unlock button 2-4 times befor it comes unlocked what is causing the problem and how to fix?

You need a new door lock actuator. You have to take door panel off to replace but isnt too bad or too expensive.

could be a broken spring
