Door Panel Switch Removal

I can remove the door on my 96 to the point where the only thing holding the inside panel to the door is the switch wired for power windows. Question is, how do I unhook either the switch from the panel or the wired from the switch without cutting and reattaching? Thanks!

You should just be able to get the switch lifted off by carefully prying with a screw driver. Then the wiring cluster is connected to the bottom of the switch with snap in prongs. That's about it, I believe.

use a screwdriver at the bottom to pop it out and then if you turn it sideways it will slide right thru the opening without having to disconnect anything
