Door Problems

I have a 2000 xls. i have put a new trany, new tires, new shocks, roof rack, new hubs, modified the air box, very nice sterio, costum console, and more goodies within my finacial capasity.
It is a 4 door but, my front driver side is the only one that works... lol
i do not want to just buy some replacement doors, fearing the same thing will happen.
i guess my question is..... Is there a company that makes after market doors for explorers like they do for jeeps, or will i have to build my own?

There are not any after market doors made for Explorers.

More than likely there is a problem with the mechinism inside the doors.
Can you open them from the inside? If so just take the door panels off and see where the problem is.

i have taken them off before but they just keep breaking.
right now they wont open from the inside or out. the inside handle keeps coming loose from all the screws.
i know i could buy new parts or replacment doors but, i fear the same thing
will happen down the road. i also would like to just switch to some rock crawler doors or somthing. if they are made.

I would replace the latch assembly and go from there.
