super easy. pop off the small round black plastic plug off on the top of the wire connector cylinder. under it you'll find a 10mm bolt. unscrew it and the connector will come apart. you may have to cut the plastic wire tie that hold the rubble boot on the connector (i don't recall) then there's 4 bolts (13mm) that hold the door on. remove them and the door comes right off. putting it back on is just as easy, as there is little to no adjustment possible.
tips: put the window down, if possible, to have something to hang on to and have someone to help hold the door. it also helps to hold up/balance the door using a floor jack with a piece of 2x4 on top of it.
