 I was at the local Advance Auto last night trying to locate the clips for the rubber piece that is "suppose" to be attached on the lower side of my drivers door. It is suppose to have clips (plastic) that snap into the rubber protector, but have lost/broke two of the clips...my issue is, nobody, not even the local dealership in town here, says they have those clips or how to install a modified clip. Even if the door was to be taken off, the dealership dude looked at me like, "umm, I am not sure how to get them down in that how to snap".. HELP!!~
Anybody else had to deal with this...

please reply to this or send me a personal email at im911sothere@yahoo.com. I do not have access to internet today, but can have yahoo deliever on my phone..thanks

Are you talking about the weather stripping? How about gluing it? Perhaps use RTV silicone which should keep it in place but peal off if you want it to (I mounted an MDF board on my trunk to hold my amps doing this in my M3.).

not the weather stripping around the door, but just the little rubber piece that runs the lower bottom under the panel..thanks

On my 97 Sport all they are is plastic pieces that push-in to hold the weatherstrip on--your dealer should have a generic set of these (then you have extras for the next thing that breaks) or go to your local hardware store--ours has a decent assortment--Barry
