I have an '02 Ex, was wondering if anyone knows the location of the door switch. Im not positive, but think its the passenger side door that the door switch is not working. It's really annoying at night when I have to wait till I start driving a little before the damn dome light turns off, not to mention it plays havoc with the factory alarm. All my other cars were old school, had a little push button that might stick, an easy fix. I'm assuming that these switches are some sort of mercury switch, or something to do with the latch?

Thanks for the Help!

they are built into the latch. from my expierence, ford did a terrible job building these switches. my mothers ranger (2002) has the same problem, aswell as my buddies explorer (2003). dont know what to tell you on fixing it, just that i know its built into the actual latch itself.

I thought so. Thanks for the reply. Damn ford... :frustrate
