Doors automatically unlocking.

My mom was driving her 2000 Explorer down the road and her driver and passenger door locks started constantly unlocking. When my mom got home, my dad removed fuse 18 which stopped the constant unlock. When we put the fuse back in, it blew immediatley. We removed the relays, reinstalled the fuse and it doesn't blow until the relay is reinstalled? I have my thoughts but was looking for an expert to shed some light.

it sounds like a short somewhere. I would check the condition of ALL of the wires/harnesses and check for any visual damage. apart from that, maybe a new relay?
