The book says it's not adjustable is that true? I noticed my drive belt looks to have slack/flop in it when the engine is running. I can see by the tensionor the belt looks like it flaps back & forth. It doesn't have a loose feeling when I check the belt tension with the engine off. The tensionor was replaced last year. The belt was replaced a few months ago. Could the belt have been streched?

I'd double check the belt part number.
Maybe a too-long belt was installed.....

I checked the part #. The belt is correct for a 94 auto with AC.

It's normal for the tensioner to move a little when the engine is running. You can look down there and see it, bobbing back and forth.

Now, if your belt is too loose, it would be loose when the engine is off, and you could actually just about remove it without having to loosen the tensioner. And/Or, it would make noise when the engine is running.

I doubt the belt has stretched after only a few months of use. Maybe it could if it is a defective belt, or it was damaged, for example.

Yeah ok that's what it was doing. I just noticed it the other day as I was messing with my intake. Maybe it's normal then. I don't get any noises. I did just drive drive 3K+ miles in a week, so I was concerned.
