Ok, I have a 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC with 122K on it. I have a weird noise on the driver side front, almost like a rubbing or rattling. It only happens when I accelerate at like 3k-4.5k RPM. It causes the steering wheel to pull a little bit to the right (passenger side). I have 98k on it, so if anyone else has had this problem please help. Its almost as if the front end hesitates a bit. I have the car in the shop today putting upper ball joints on it, maybe that will take care of the problem, but it is pretty frusterating.
